Our core team has an appropriate mix of scientists and clinicians who are highly experienced in genomic research & molecular diagnostics. The laboratory has ‘state-of-the-art’ equipment like an Ion S5 & Ion Chef next generation sequencer, a ABI3500 capillary sequencer, Affymetrix Microarray system and real-time PCR machines. The lab design ensures a unidirectional flow of samples and reagents, with each area being access controlled, to minimise the possibility of contamination.
Dr. Sanjay Gupte has been in clinical practice for past 40 years and has been identified as a senior icon and the penultimate idol in the medical fraternity. He enjoyed his early years of career as a professor with BJ Medical College as well as Sassoon General Hospital. He has been offering medico legal consultations free of cost 24X7 for the past 15 years now. His dedication and determination has led to the evolution of Gupte Hospital and Centre for Research in Reproduction with its current status of NABH accredited single specialty model healthcare delivery system.
Dr.Sarjan Shah is laboratory director as well as quality manager, he has vast experience and training to meet the needs of users. Dr.Sarjan Shah brings an expertise in NABL, infectious and genetics. He has over 12 years of experience in diagnostics.
